Country Quilts 1994 Our first community volunteer project was a full size mural. The mural depicts three colourful country quilts blowing in the warm southern Alberta winds with a typical country landscape blending in behind the clothes line. This mural has since been removed due to deterioration, but was enjoyed till its removal in July 2000. |

Seniors Mural 1995 The second mural is located on three sides of the seniors building in Irricana. Two of its sides were painted by long time residents to the area as their legacy to Irricana's community. The third side (peaked side) of the mural was another community volunteer project. Each of the sides depicts a rural scene with a farm house, a white picket fence, geese and an old Model-T Ford. |

Sunflowers 1996 The third mural is a huge bouquet of sunflowers with a butterfly overhead. A white picket fence, Irricana's identifying symbol, is visible behind the sunflowers. A large number of the community youth volunteered their time to help create this painting. |

Carousel 1998 The fourth mural is on the south side of the library on the Rec Building. This mural depicts a row of carousel horses and the familiar white picket fence in behind them. |

Prairie Rainbow The fifth mural is located on First avenue, south of Irricana's administration building. This colourful scene was painted single-handedly by a new resident to Irricana, Donna McMaster and is a depiction of our typical prairie landscape. |

Splash Park 2006 This mural was Painted in 2006 as part of an Economic Development and Tourism initiative. This colourful mural depicts children playing outside and can be found adjacent to the Irricana Splash Park located at the south recreation green space off Henricks Drive. |

Garage 2007 This mural was painted in 2007 again as part of an ongoing Economice Development and Tourism strategy. Twenty people helped paint this mural, eighteen of which were local children. This mural is located on the west side of Norm's Stop and Go convenience store/gas station and depicts an old fashioned gas station and a 1953 Chevrolet pick-up truck. |
